Hi.. I am Alan Grant. I am a Palaeontologist. My partner called Ellie Sattler. She is a palaeobotanist. A Palaeontologist is scientist who study the history of life on Earth. This morning, when I’m doing some research for a dinosaur bone who had lived 75 million years ago, a lawyer from the Environmental Protection Agency come and want to talk with me. he is Bob Morris. He ask me about John Hammond. John Hammond is a very rich people, and he is very interested in dinosaur. Hammond gives money to people who’s doing research on Dinosaur for him. Morris also asked me why he ( John Hammond ) is also interested in amber. I don’t know anything about it. Then, Morris explained me about Hammond, who spent $17 million to buying amber, and about Hammond’s island near Costa Rica. I never know that Hammond have an island… Morris explained me more about Hammond’s Island. He said it’s called Isla Nublar, or Cloud Island. And he said that I was paid to do some work in connection with this island. I was so surprised. He gave me a copy of a cheque paid from InGen Incorporated. I remembered a man called Donald Gennaro, a lawyer from InGen phoned me and ask me about how dinosaur lived. He would pay me $50 000. After I talk to Bob Morris, I got a fax of an X-ray. It says that there’s a compsognathus, who attacked a 10-years-old girl in a beach. I didn’t believe it. Suddenly, my phone rang and I answered it. It’s John Hammond. He wants me and Ellie to go to Isla Nublar, his island the one that Bob told me before. He would pay me $60 000 for three days, to be a consultant. It looks great.. :)
